Students learned about prison administration, rehabilitation work and legal aid at Thane Central Jail.

Alice Law College organised an educational visit to Thane Central Jail from 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for 36 law students (27 male, 9 female) with Principal Dr. Shweta Chaudhari. Senior Jail Officer (Administration) Kailas Bhavar and Dnyaneshwar Patil explained the mulakat (meeting) facility, vocational training in the bakery, factory, flour mill, carpentry and power-loom departments, the prisoner wage system and the legal aid facility.
