Introduction

National Youth Day is celebrated every year on 12 January to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a great philosopher, spiritual leader, and youth icon of India. The day emphasizes the vital role of youth in nation-building and character formation. In keeping with this objective, Alice Law College, Boisar organized a meaningful celebration for LLB students to inspire them to imbibe the values and ideals preached by Swami Vivekananda.

Objectives of the Programme

Programme Details

The National Youth Day celebration was held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. under the guidance of Prof. Ravina Katkar and the esteemed leadership of Principal Dr. Shweta Chaudhari. The programme began with a brief introduction on the significance of National Youth Day and the life and vision of Swami Vivekananda.

Students actively participated in the event through speeches, reflections, and discussions focusing on Swami Vivekananda’s teachings such as self-belief, dedication to duty, service to society, and national integrity. Special emphasis was laid on how these ideals are relevant to law students, particularly in upholding justice, ethics, and constitutional values.

Role of Faculty and Leadership

Prof. Ravina Katkar guided and motivated the students throughout the programme, encouraging them to adopt a disciplined and responsible approach towards their academic and professional lives.

Principal Dr. Shweta Chaudhari addressed the students and emphasized the importance of youth empowerment, legal awareness, and ethical practice in the legal profession. Her words inspired students to become responsible citizens and committed legal professionals.
