The Republic Day celebration was held on 26th January 2026 at Alice Law Commerce with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme was conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the college campus, with active participation from students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff.
The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony at 8:45 a.m., which was graciously performed by Principal Dr. Shweta Choudhari. The National Flag was unfurled with pride, followed by the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a sense of unity and national pride. After the flag hoisting, the principal addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of Republic Day, highlighting the importance of the Indian Constitution, democratic values, and the responsibilities of citizens in building a strong nation.
The programme continued with a variety of cultural activities organized under the guidance of Prof. Ravina Katkar. Students showcased their talents through patriotic dance performances, which beautifully depicted India’s rich cultural heritage and the sacrifices of freedom fighters. The energetic and graceful performances were well appreciated by the audience. In addition, students delivered inspiring speeches on topics such as the importance of the Constitution, unity in diversity, and the role of youth in nation-building. The speeches reflected confidence, awareness, and a deep sense of patriotism among the students.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organizing committee, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success. The Republic Day programme ended on a positive note, leaving everyone motivated and proud to be citizens of India.
